Northeast Minnesota woman dies in crash
Raven Boshey, 41, was a passenger in a car that lost control and struck a tree in a ditch along I-35.
WILLOW RIVER, Minn. — A Duluth woman is dead after a car crash south of Willow River.
Raven Boshey, 41, died Friday, July 22, after the Pontiac G6 in which she was a passenger lost control on southbound Interstate 35 near mile marker 205 and struck a tree in the ditch on the west side of the highway, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Driving the car was Dontrell Davis, 31, of Fridley, Minnesota. Also inside was Floyd Booher, 44, of Maplewood, Minnesota. Davis sustained non-life threatening injuries and Booher sustained life-threatening injuries, the Patrol said.
Davis, authorities claimed, was wearing a seatbelt, but Booher and Boshey were not.
Willow River is about 53 miles south of Duluth along I-35.
