DETROIT LAKES — With votes from both Detroit Lakes wards counted, incumbent Ben Grimsley came in first in the Becker County Board race for District 2.

Grimsley received 329 votes, with challenger David Meyer coming in second with 284 votes, according to the Becker County website.
Challenger Darin Halvorson received 238 votes and Steven D. Walz collected 167 votes.
As the top two vote-getters, Grimsley and Meyer now advance to the General Election on Nov. 8.
