Fall is a beautiful time to visit the Minnesota Zoo, and as part of “Museum Day Live!” in conjunction with Smithsonian magazine, the Zoo will offer a free child admission with any paid adult on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Guests and children taking advantage of this one-day-only offer will enjoy a variety of adorable fall babies, as moose calves, beaver kits, a porcupette, and lynx kittens are on exhibit every day. Autumn is the perfect time for strolling along the Zoo’s many outdoor trails as well as Zoo’s indoor Tropics and Medtronic Minnesota Trails, getting fresh air on the Northern Trail.
The Zoo’s Conservation Carousel will also be open for riders who want to support conservation programs while riding this new zoo amenity that features hand-carved animals from around the world.
Museum Day Live! is an annual event hosted by Smithsonian magazine to encourage museum visitation nationwide.
