Moorhead man dies in Becker County motorcycle crash

LAKE PARK, Minn. — A Moorhead native died in a motorcycle crash Saturday night, Aug. 22, northeast of Lake Park, Minn.

The Becker County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the crash, about 9:28 p.m. on County Highway 9 near Labelle Lake.

The motorcyclist, 45-year-old Eric Jeffrey Leroux of Moorhead, was found unresponsive. Life-saving measures were unsuccessful and Leroux was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Lake Park is 33 miles east of Moorhead.
