Handgun lodges into front bumper of motorists vehicle while traveling

Washington State Patrol / Facebook

A lot of things can get lodged into the bumper of a vehicle while traveling down the highway, but no one could ever predict this.

While a motorist was traveling down Interstate 5 in Washington state recently, a black handgun became lodged into the front bumper.

According to a Facebook post from the Washington State Patrol:

A driver said they saw a small "black object" flying through the air while traveling on I-5. When the driver stopped for gas approximately 18 miles later, they saw the gun stuck in their front bumper.

Troopers then recovered the firearm and turned it over to local police.
