An Ogema man has been sentenced in Becker County District Court on a felony charge of third degree burglary.

Aaron Thomas Keezer, 33, of P.O. Box 114, Ogema, was ordered to serve 33 months (2¾ years) in prison, with credit for 334 days previously served. He was also fined $135, to be taken from his prison earnings.

Keezer was accused of taking a computer and flat screen television from a residence on Fitch's Beach Road in Becker County on Oct. 6, 2010.

According to the criminal complaint, Keezer was charged after a cigarette butt found near the residence was sent into the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension for analysis. A match was found between DNA material found on the cigarette and a DNA sample from the defendant that was already on file.
