In the battle of incumbents, John Okeson has defeated Gerry Schram, 51 percent to 49 percent, for the District 3 Becker County Board seat.
With five of five precincts reporting, Okeson received 1,739 votes to Schram's 1,661 votes.
Okeson has been on the county board for two years. Schram has been a commissioner for four years.
The two commissioners ended up in the same district after the redistricting process that follows the 10-year census.
