An arrest warrant has been issued for an Ottertail man accused of sexually assaulting two teenage girls repeatedly over a four-year time period.
Brian Christopher Washburn, who is 42 or 43, was charged Monday in Cass County District Court with one count of gross sexual imposition, a Class C felony, and one count of disorderly conduct, a Class B misdemeanor.
Court documents filed with the charges say one of the teens wrote a note to their grandparents telling them about the assaults, after which they were interviewed by Fargo police and Otter Tail County sheriff’s deputies.
The girls, one of whom was under 15 at the time of one alleged sexual assault, told police the assaults happened more than 10 times between November 2008 and 2012.
The girls were both known to Washburn, court documents say.
