The area’s Philanthropic Educational Organization recently delivered some much-needed items to local shelters.

The PEO Thrivant Homeless Women’s Project collected several tubs of items such as purses, toiletries, makeup and more.

Thrivant Financial donated $250 in debit cards to the group to purchase items, while PEO sorority sisters donated additional funds and items to add to the buckets.

They were delivered to the Lakes Crisis and Resource Center and the Compassion House.
