Perham woman hurt in car-pickup crash on Highway 10

A Perham woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday on Highway 10 in Otter Tail County.

Heidi Maria Willprecht, 52, of Perham was treated at Perham Health for non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.

The accident occurred when a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado, traveling eastbound on Highway 10, stopped in the left turn lane for County Road 60. A 2019 Ford sedan driven by Willprecht rear-ended the pickup, which was driven by Gerald Adrian Vandermay, 73, of Vergas, who was not injured, according to the State Patrol.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts. Airbags did not deploy in either vehicle. No alcohol was involved.

The crash was reported at 11:03 a.m. on dry pavement in Gorman Township between Frazee and Perham. The Otter Tail Sheriff’s Office assisted the State Patrol.
