A Perham woman will make her first appearance March 29 in Becker County District Court on a felony charge of theft by check.
Rachel Rebecca Danielson, 34, of 334 7th Ave., Perham, is accused of writing three checks totaling $1,075 at the Backyard Station in Frazee, and a fourth check at Pro Systems in Detroit Lakes for $129. The checks were all written between Oct. 8 and Dec. 16, 2010. According to the complaint, all four checks were returned unpaid because her account had been closed.
