Donavon Leon Brown, 41, of 28505 460th Ave., Ponsford has been sentenced in Becker County District Court on a felony charge of escape from custody.
He failed to return to jail after being released for work on Dec. 31, 2005, with three months left on his sentence for DWI and escape from custody, according to court records.
On March 7, District Judge Mark Hansen sentenced him to 19 months in prison, execution of sentence stayed five years. He was placed on supervised probation and ordered to pay a $50 fine and court fees.
He is to remain in jail until April 27, when he will be transported to Dakotah Pride Center, an intensive inpatient treatment program in Sisseton, S.D.
