Roman Jesus Chavez, 24, of 46311 284th St., Ponsford has been sentenced in Becker County District Court on two felony counts of third-degree burglary.
Felony charges of first- and second-degree burglary were dropped in a plea agreement.
According to court records:
On Nov. 13, tribal police officers responding to a report of suspicious behavior near Elbow Lake met a vehicle coming towards them.
It stopped a short distance away, turned around and sped off. They pulled it over and the driver, Chavez, admitted he was wanted on a Hubbard County warrant.

Officers found a leaf blower, several deer and fish mounts and other items in the vehicle that had been stolen from three cabins.
Chavez admitted that he and two other men (who have also been charged) had used bolt cutters to cut the chain on a gate and then forcibly entered three unoccupied cabins and burglarized them.
A Marlin .22 caliber long rifle and ammunition were among the stolen items.
Chavez appeared Monday before District Judge Peter Irvine, who sentenced him to 18 months in prison on the first count, stayed five years. He must serve 90 days in jail and pay a $500 fine, plus $600 in restitution.
On the second count, he was sentenced to 21 months in prison, stayed five years, and ordered to pay a $500 fine, for a total of $1,690 in fines, fees and restitution.
