A Detroit Lakes man was sentenced in Becker County District Court on a felony charge Feb. 3.
District Judge Waldemar Senyk stayed execution of a 33-month prison sentence against Joshua Caron, 26, of 31950 Southwest Pickerel Lake Road, for third-degree possession of a controlled substance.
Caron was placed on supervised probation for up to 20 years, given credit for 50 days served and fined $1,087.
Caron was arrested in Detroit Lakes on Nov. 3, 2005, following a traffic stop for possession of meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
