FARGO - Police responding to a complaint by a private dancer who said she wasn't allowed to leave after performing in a semi truck ended up arresting the trucker on suspicion of DUI and open container.
The trucker at the Flying J Travel Plaza in south Fargo paid for the dance in advance and, when it was completed, requested "further services," according to Sgt. Mark Lykken.
The dancer told police that when she refused, the trucker demanded his money back and wouldn't let her leave until she gave it back, Lykken said. The dancer gave the money back and was released, then called police.
Police arrived and found evidence that the trucker had been drinking alcohol in the semi, Lykken said.
The trucker, Paul John Goalen, 49, of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, was arrested and taken to the Cass County Jail.
