SHEVLIN -- A 15-year-old Shevlin boy died Saturday after being found unresponsive in a snow bank outside of his home.
The boy, Jared Gilbertson, was found by his father, Russ Gilbertson, at approximately 11 a.m.
Clearwater County Attorney Jeanine Brand reported that medical and law enforcement personnel responded to the scene and performed resuscitation efforts. Jared was transported the Clearwater County Memorial Hospital and then airlifted to Fargo, where he died.
An autopsy is being performed to identify the cause of death. S
Some of Jared's friends admitted to law enforcement that they were all drinking alcohol at another friend's home and dropped Jared off at his house in the early morning hours.
