FARGO - No one was injured, but one shot was fired during an armed robbery Thursday at Royal Liquors.
Police were called to the store at 1606 Main Ave. at 8:50 p.m.
Lt. Joel Vettel said two men, each with a firearm, entered the store and demanded money from the employees.
The employees complied, but at one point, a round was fired off.
"The clerks did the right thing," Vettel said.

Vettel said whether the shot was fired by accident or as a scare tactic is yet to be determined.
The two men left the scene by car with an undisclosed amount of money, Vettel said.
As of 11 p.m. Thursday, a description of the two men or the vehicle was not yet available. Vettel said they were likely wearing disguises, but the store has video surveillance that officers will review.
Vettel said multiple employees and witnesses were in the store at the time of the robbery.
A number of officers scoured the roof of the building, which Vettel said was in connection with the fired round.
"Obviously with the discharge of a weapon it's very concerning," Vettel said.
The armed robbery is the fifth this month, and the second this week after three men robbed a South Fargo Stop-N-Go store at 602 23rd St. S. early Wednesday morning.
