A 42-year-old Crookston woman was injured in a snowmobile accident Saturday at the Two Inlets State Forest.
According to the Becker County Sheriff's Office, Anita Marie Brekken suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries to her left leg in the accident that happened around noon.
She was brought by North Ambulance to Essentia Health St. Mary's in Detroit Lakes and later airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.
Brekken was snowmobiling with three others -- Derek Jon Brekken, 22, Austen Robert Brekken, 16, and Justin Daniel Erdmann, 21, all from Crookston -- near 560th Avenue and 290th Street.
No other injuries were reported and the sheriff's office says no alcohol was involved in the accident.
