Four teenage suspects have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery that happened on Halloween night at an Alexandria home.

The suspects, all from Alexandria, are Caleb Styer, 19, Kolten Neely, 16, Devon Van Scoik, 16, and a 14-year-old boy who was not identified by police. The names of those 16 and older are released if they face felony level charges.

The arrests, announced this week, are the result of a six-week investigation, according to the Alexandria Police Department.

The investigation revealed that the four suspects all entered a residence on the 400 block of 11th Avenue East. Two of them were allegedly armed with long guns when they entered the home.

The suspects reportedly demanded drugs from a boy who was alone in the house and then ransacked several rooms in a search for narcotics, police believe.

They then demanded all the firearms in the home and left with three long guns owned by the homeowner. The victim was not physically injured during the incident.

There was damage sustained to personal property and the four suspects fled with the firearms.

The investigation is still ongoing. All suspects are in custody awaiting a court appearance.
