Third burglary dismisssed under plea agreement

On July 8, 2006, he was one of five people who entered the home of a Becker County couple over a period of several days, stealing items valued at more than $5,000, according to court records. He and two other men are accused of taking a safe from the residence on July 7, 2006.

He pleaded guilty Jan. 2 and was sentenced Wednesday by District Judge Mark Hansen to 18 months in prison, execution of sentence stayed 10 years. He was placed on supervised probation and ordered to serve four months in jail and two months under electronic home monitoring at his own expense.

He was fined $1,000 plus court fees and ordered to pay restitution of $1,534. Sentencing to Service privileges were granted.

On count 2, he was sentenced to 23 months in prison, execution of sentence stayed 10 years. The two sentences are to be served concurrently.
