Culvert work on a stretch of Highway 113 in Becker County begins Thursday.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be replacing a culvert between mile markers 43 and 44 near Bad Medicine Lake starting Thursday, according to a news release.
Motorists will encounter shoulder closures through the weekend. On Monday, Sept. 16, weather permitting, Highway 113 will close and traffic will be detoured to County Road 39, and highways 200 and 71. The project is expected to take approximately three days to complete, according to the release.
Local access will be maintained for those who live along Highway 113, but the road will be impassable at the culvert location.
