Two Fargo men appeared Tuesday in Becker County District Court on identical felony counts of first degree burglary.

Justin Kenneth Gladue, 20, of 1633 33rd Ave., Apt. 104, and Nicholas Montaro Sarith, 20, of 3219 18th St., Apt. 310, are accused of breaking into the Becker County residence of Charlie's Tubing on July 3, while the owner and her sister were watching a movie.

Following the break-in, one of the owners reported that $50 cash as well as a credit card and a fishing license in his name had been taken; based on the owners' description of the intruders, and the vehicle they were driving, investigators tracked down the duo. During a vehicle search, the credit card and fishing license were found.

Sarith, the driver, also appeared to be intoxicated, and performed poorly on field sobriety tests administered at the scene, according to court documents. After refusing to take a preliminary breath test, he was charged with an additional gross misdemeanor count of third degree driving while intoxicated, and an additional misdemeanor DWI charge.

Both men were released Tuesday, after each posted a $5,000 bond. They will make their next court appearance at an omnibus hearing on Aug. 16.
