Two people were hurt in a two-car broadside crash Tuesday afternoon on Highway 87 near Frazee.

     According to the State Patrol, The accident occurred when a Pontiac G6 passenger car was eastbound on Highway 87 and was making a left turn into a driveway.

     A Pontiac Montana minivan, also eastbound, struck the G6 as it attempted to pass on the left.

     The driver of the minivan, Keli J. Odea, 24, of Henning suffered non-life-threatening injuries, as did a passenger in the minivan, Loretta L. Ramsay, 51, of New York Mills.

     Both were taken to Essentia St Mary’s Hospital in Detroit Lakes.

     AIsaiah A. Odea, a child whose age is listed as zero, and who was also a passenger in the minivan, suffered no apparent injuries.

     The driver of the passenger car, Trent M. Ovsak, 42, of Frazee, also suffered no apparent injuries, according to the State Patrol.

     All four people involved were wearing seatbelts.

     The crash occurred on dry two-lane pavement at milepost 4 at 5:43 p.m.

                The Becker County Sheriff’s Office and Frazee Police Department assisted at the scene.
