A two-vehicle accident on Highway 34 East in Detroit Lakes sent two people to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon.
Larry Olson, 67, of Detroit Lakes and April Madole, 31, of Frazee were both transported by ambulance to Essentia St. Mary's Hospital with non life-threatening injuries, according to Detroit Lakes Police Chief Tim Eggebraaten.
Both were eastbound on Highway 34 about a quarter mile east of Cenex.
Olson's vehicle was stopped waiting to make a left turn and it was rear-ended by Madole's vehicle, according to the accident report. Both were alone in their vehicles. No citations were issued.
The State Patrol assisted at the scene.
