Tickets are now available for 'The USO Show' on Saturday, Sept. 27 at the ITOW Veterans Museum in Perham.
This year's annual banquet for the Friends of the History Museum of East Otter Tail County will be a nostalgic journey back in time with a popular re-enactment of the classic USO Show.
The presentation will include popular singers and actors -- and even a special guest who looks and acts amazingly like one of the fabled performers of the original USO shows.
The banquet will begin with a social hour at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m., followed by 'The USO Show.'
After the show there will be dancing in the 'canteen' until 11 p.m.

Drinks will be served by the East Otter Tail Historical Society.

Other upcoming events and exhibits at the ITOW Museum include:
n Sept. 13: VFW Post 4020 and Auxiliary will host the 9th District Fall Conference on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the ITOW Veterans Museum in Perham. Registration for the meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m., with the conference closing at approximately 4:30 p.m. The ITOW Veterans Museum will be closed to the general public.
n Sept. 13: There will be a Veterans Motorcycle Ride to support the Veterans Home in Fergus Falls. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. The motorcycles will leave from in front of the ITOW Museum at noon.
n Oct. 4: "Raising the Barn - Storytelling Concert with Paul Imholte and JoAnne Lower."
n Through Oct. 31: "Top Secret" -- An exhibit from the Cold War Museum about the U2 Incident.
n ? Nov. 6-Jan. 3, 2009: Photography exhibit -- "Portraits of Home: Housing Challenges Facing Minnesota Veterans and the Families."
