BARNEY, N.D. - A 50-year-old Wahpeton man was injured in a rollover-type accident early Wednesday near Barney, the Richland County Sheriff's Office reported.
David Manning was driving a car north on 163rd Avenue Southeast when he crossed Highway 13 at about 65 mph and lost control of the vehicle at about 12:41 a.m., the sheriff's office stated in a news release.
The car fish-tailed, slid into the west ditch and rolled, coming to rest on its passenger side.
Manning was removed from the car by Wyndmere firefighters and taken to St. Francis Healthcare Campus in Breckenridge, Minn., where he was treated for unknown injuries that weren't believed to be life-threatening, the news release stated.
Alcohol appeared to be a factor in the crash, the release stated.
