A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a St. Paul man on a felony charge of third degree burglary, in connection with a Dec. 29 break-in at a Becker County residence.
Shawn Michael Jennrich, 32, of 27 Southview Boulevard, South St. Paul, is accused of stealing a purse, credit cards chainsaw and other items from the home, then reportedly using the credit cards to purchase goods and services at three area businesses on Dec. 30.
A vehicle that had been reported stolen from the Duluth area on Dec. 27 was reportedly identified as the suspect vehicle; Jennrich was reportedly behind the wheel of the car when it was found by the Eagan police Department on Jan. 23.
Shoe prints and tire tracks found at the scene of the burglary reportedly matched Jennrich's shoes and the suspect vehicle; he is reportedly incarcerated in Dakota County at this time, on an unrelated charge.
