Gene Michael Keezer, 30, of 2656 320th St., Waubun was sentenced to 21 months in prison on a felony charge of violating an order for protection.

On Oct. 26 he made three early morning calls, apparently while intoxicated, to a woman who has a no-contact order against him. He also text-messaged her, according to court records.

He has three prior domestic abuse-related convictions from 2006.

He pleaded guilty to the latest charge on Jan. 14, and on March 10 was sentenced by District Judge Peter Irvine to 21 months in prison, with credit for time served. He was fined $50 plus court fees, to be paid from prison earnings, and was ordered to have no contact with the woman.
