The White Earth Tribal and Community College recently received a $14,300 grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Rural Development.
The grant was used to set up an interactive classroom and for distance learning technology.
State Director of Rural Development Steve Wenzel visited the college today (Wednesday) to present the grant to the college. U.S. Sen. Norm Coleman and Rep. Collin Peterson were also scheduled to be on hand for the presentation.
