A White Earth man made his first appearance in Becker County District Court on three charges Wednsday.

District Judge Thomas Schroeder set bond at $14,000 against Anthony Villebrun, 27. His next court appearance is April 10.

Villebrun is charged with one count each of felony first-degree driving while impaired, felony first-degree DWI-.08 or more and gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation.

A Becker County sheriff's deputy arrested Villebrun for alleged erratic driving March 28. Villebrun allegedly tested .15 for alcohol.

According to court records, Villebrun has five DWI convictions.

Each felony charge has a maximum penalty of seven years in prison and a $14,000 fine. The gross misdemeanor charge is one year in jail and/or a $3,000 fine.
