Casey Michael Wheeler, 25, of White Earth has been sentenced in Becker County District Court for felony theft.
According to court records, On Aug. 13, 2014, he burglarized a Becker County residence, stealing a black Winchester .22 caliber rifle and a single stock three-barrel Rossi .243 caliber long gun. On Sept. 16, District Judge Joe Evans sentenced him to 15 months in state prison at St. Cloud, stayed 20 years.
He was ordered to serve 61 days in jail, with credit for 61 days served.
He was fined $1,000 plus $85 in court fees, and placed on supervised probation for 20 years.
