White Earth hosting missing and murdered indigenous women march today

The White Earth Behavioral Health Department is hosting an inaugural Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Men, Girls, Boys, LGBTQI, Transgender and Two Spirit Relatives March today, Friday, Feb. 14.

The march starts at 9 a.m. at the west parking lot of the tribal health building, according to a news release. It will end around 11 a.m. at the White Earth Community Center.

Everyone, including non-White Earth members, is invited to the walk. Marchers should wear red and bring drums, staffs and rattles, the release said. Snacks and beverages will be provided, along with a cultural activity after the walk.
