William Ike Libby, Jr., 29, of Box 355 White Earth was been sentenced to nine years in prison after being caught with 59 grams of methamphetamines in his vehicle.

The meth was valued at $200 a gram, or $11,800, according to court records.

He was arrested Nov. 17, 2008, after officers acting on a tip pulled his vehicle over. He was wanted on a warrant from Oak Park Heights Correctional Facility. There were also packaging items, a digital scale, and a glass smoking device.

On Thursday, District Judge Lisa Borgen sentenced him to 108 months in St. Cloud prison, with credit for 411 days served.

He was fined $50, to be taken from prison pay, and ordered to pay court fees and $4,424 in restitution to the State Patrol, for a total of $4,564 owed.
