White Earth is offering a one-time emergency assistance payment of $3,200 to enrolled members who meet the eligibility guidelines.
The White Earth Tribal Council passed a resolution Friday morning authorizing the Coronavirus Recovery Program to provide emergency financial assistance to White Earth members suffering financial hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic.The money is available through the American Rescue Plan Act.
Members must complete an application that can be found on the White Earth Nation website at www.whiteearth.com or pick up an application at the White Earth headquarters building front desk. The completed application, along with a copy of the individual’s valid state or tribally-issued ID must be returned by Sept. 24, 2024 to: White Earth Enrollments, PO Box 506, White Earth, MN 56591 or emailed to: ARPA@whiteearth-nsn.gov.
