A Detroit Lakes woman will make her first appearance Jan. 11 in Becker County District Court on a felony drug possession charge.
Christine Rosalyn Tinjum, 23, of 20450 County Highway 21, Detroit Lakes, was charged in connection with a Dec. 16 incident at the trailer home where she and her boyfriend were living. A search warrant was executed at the residence, at which time a glass plate containing a white powder residue and a clear, empty plastic pen were found in a kitchen cupboard.
Tinjum allegedly admitted that the items belonged to her, and said that the white powder residue was from the drug hydrocodone. Another hydrocodone pill was found at the residence, for which Tinjum did not have a prescription.
