A Ponsford woman has been sentenced for drug possession.
Michaelene Joy Norcross, 39, was sentenced to 13 months in prison, stayed for five years.
She will instead serve 90 days in jail with 30 days of credit for time served.
Norcross was arrested on Feb. 27 after officers were called to a car in the ditch.
When they arrived, they found two people in the vehicle, one of which was Norcross, the driver.

Officers discovered that Norcross had a warrant out for her arrest, and took her into custody.
While she was changing at the jail, baggies fell out of her clothing – one with marijuana in it, the other with five different kinds of prescription drugs.
It was determined that she only had a prescription for one of them.
Norcross was charged with three felony counts of fifth degree drugs, but was found not guilty of two of those counts.
