Dr. Behzad Sabit is now providing outreach services at Sanford Health Detroit Lakes.
He practices neurosurgery, specializing in minimally invasive spine surgery and complex spine procedures, and treats adult degenerative deformity, radiculopathy and spinal stenosis.
Other services include obtaining detailed history and physical exams to diagnose and manage patients with neck and back pain, as well as other neurological issues, and providing recommendations for conservative management and surgical management when appropriate with postoperative follow-up.
Dr. Sabit attended graduate school at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg and medical school at McGill University Faculty of Medicine in Montreal. He did his residency at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg and his fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle.
