Heart O'Lakes Genealogical Society: Heart O'Lakes Genealogical Society will hold its regular meeting at 6 p.m. inside the Becker County Museum, 714 Summit Ave., Detroit Lakes. Lenten Fish Fry Fundraiser: The Knights of Columbus Council 12581 of Frazee will host a Lenten fish fry fundraiser from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Frazee. The meal will include fried fish, scalloped potatoes or French fries, green beans, cole slaw, bread and ice cream. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for kids age 7-12, and free for kids age 6 and under.

PEO Chapter FG: Chapter FG of the Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO) will meet at 9:30 a.m. in the United Methodist Church, 885 Pembina Trail, Detroit Lakes, with Sue Eidenschink, Sue Malone and Joyce Armstrong as hostesses.This meeting will include election of officers as well as a delegate and alternate for the state chapter convention. Cabin Fever Supper: The congregation of Grace Lutheran Church invites all lakes area residents to enjoy a "Cabin Fever Supper" from 4 to 7 p.m. in the church fellowship hall at 213 Roosevelt Ave., Detroit Lakes. Meatball Dinner: The Detroit Lakes Breakfast Rotary Club will host its 11th Annual Meatball Dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the M State cafeteria (900 Highway 34 East). "To go" meals are available. Suggested donation is $10 for adults and $5 for children. All proceeds will benefit the Becker County Food Pantry.

Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group: The local support group for caregivers of those living with Alzheimer's disease will be held at 2 p.m. in the yoga studio at Ecumen Detroit Lakes (1415 Madison Ave.). Spring Arts Festival: The Frazee Schools Spring Arts Festival will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in the Frazee High School gymnasium. The festivities will include a K-12 visual arts display, solo, group and ensemble performances by the schools' band and vocal students, a performance by the NLDA Dancers, and more. Admission is free.

Spaghetti Dinner: Heart O'Lakes VFW Post 7702 and AmVets 612 will be hosting a spaghetti dinner from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Vergas Event Center. All donations and proceeds will go to benefit the Veterans Relief Fund, which is used to support activities that serve multiple veterans' organizations in the Vergas area. Alzheimer's Support Group: Meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 2 p.m. in the Yoga Studio at Ecumen Detroit Lakes.

Cancer support group: Essentia Health St. Mary's Cancer Support Group meets the 4th Wednesday of the month at 5 p.m. Please meet at the fireplace in the Clinic Lobby. The Caring Cup: Every second and last Wednesday of the month from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., community members who are dealing with the loss of a loved one meet at the David-Donehower Funeral Home for friendship, support and encouragement. The free program is open to the public, no registration necessary.

BC Senior Meals: Meals for persons 60 and older are served several times each week at nutrition sites in Detroit Lakes, Lake Park, Osage and Wolf Lake or can be delivered directly to homes in these communities, Frazee and Callaway, via the Meals on Wheels program. Preschool screening: Preschool screening for 3-5 year olds for the Frazee-Vergas district is provided through Becker County Community Health Services. Call Annie at 218-847-5628 ext. 5419 to make an appointment. This one screening will provide your child the requirements for Early Childhood Screening. Minnesota law requires each child attend a health and developmental screening before kindergarten.

Senior Center Activities: The DL Senior Citizens Center has activities all month long. Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. is Pinochle; at 1 p.m. there will be 500 and other games. Whist is played on Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. The third Wednesday of each month will be a celebration of birthdays for the month. Bingo for DL Hockey: The DL Youth Hockey organization holds Bingo every Sunday at Zorbaz in support of youth hockey in Detroit Lakes. All are welcome; Bingo starts at 6 p.m.
