Frazee man sentenced for meth

David Dean Morlock, 65, of Frazee has been sentenced in Becker County District Court for felony third-degree controlled substance crime.

According to court records, on Dec. 18, 2016, he sold 1.6 grams of meth to a confidential reliable informant with the West Central Minnesota Drug and Violent Crime Task Force.

Morlock appeared in court April 4 before District Judge Jay Carlson, who stayed imposition of sentencing for 10 years and ordered him to serve 60 days in jail, with credit for one day served. He can serve half that time on electronic home monitoring at his own expense. He must pay a $750 fine and $835 in court fees, and follow the recommendations of his chemical use assessment, including aftercare. He was placed on supervised probation for 10 years.
