George E. Tweten Jr., 98, of Lake Park, formerly of Moorhead, MN, died December 14, 2021 at Sanford Hospice House in Fargo, ND. Funeral services and interment will be held in the spring of 2022 when the snowbirds return.

George was born August 24, 1923. He was united in marriage to Mary Ellen Borgen of Fargo, April 6, 1946 in Glyndon, MN. They farmed near Glyndon and Lake Park, MN until 1959 when they moved to Moorhead. George drove semi for Allied Van Lines until retiring in 1987.

George and Mary raised 6 children and had 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. David-Donehower Funeral Home is serving the family.
