Margie Mindermann-Zuberbier

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday November 12 at First Lutheran Church in Detroit Lakes.  COVID-19 rules will be followed and masks are required. To attend the funeral please RSVP with the church at 218-329-6199.  A walk through visitation will be Wednesday November 11th from 5 to 7:00 PM at the Furey Funeral Home in Frazee. Margie Ann Zuberbier nee Hinshaw (Mindermann) was born December 12, 1936 in Detroit Lakes, MN the daughter of Stanley and Catherene (Gurdis) Hinshaw. She passed away November 6, 2020 at Oak Crossing Nursing Home in Detroit Lakes.  She grew up in Detroit Lakes and graduated from high school there. In 1954 Margie married Alvin Mindermann. They had five children and made their home in Perham where Margie was a homemaker. After retirement, they moved to Vergas, MN.  Margie worked as a home health aide, activities aide at Perham living and sold Avon. She loved going to card parties, spending time with family and flower gardening.  She is survived by her husband Ron Zuberbier; children: Jerome (Diane) Mindermann, Suzanne (Charles) Bachmann, Patricia (Philip) deWeese; 9 grandchildren, 15 ½ great grandchildren.  Margie was preceded in death by her parents: Stanley and Catherene Hinshaw; husband: Alvin Mindermann; sons: Michael Mindermann and Thomas Mindermann; brothers: Harold, Merle, Kenneth, and Robert Hinshaw; sisters: Rose Hinshaw, and Patricia Estby.
