Thomas Schouviller, 46, of Callaway, MN passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, September 10, 2020. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at David-Donehower Funeral Home from 4-7pm with a 5pm prayer service. Everyone is welcome for a graveside service at 1:30pm on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Callaway, MN.
Thomas Charles Schouviller was born on June 4, 1974 to Albert and Marjory (LaRue) in Detroit Lakes, MN. He was the youngest of four siblings. He went to school in Detroit Lakes, and graduated from Detroit Lakes High School with the class of 1992. After high school, he furthered his education at M-State graduating with a degree in autobody. After graduating from college, he worked for Vareberg autobody and the Pelican turkey plant before working on the family farm fulltime in 1995.
Thomas was known as a very happy go lucky kind of guy and he has never met a stranger! He loved working on the farm with his brother Dennis. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, and visiting with his family and friends. Thomas loved working with wood, creating and building things. He was an avid collector of model international tractors. Thomas was an active member of the volunteer Callaway Fire Department.
He is survived by his siblings William (Lisa) Schouviller, Sue Schouviller, and Dennis Schouviller; nephews William, Matthew, Douglas and Andrew; his large extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Marjory; numerous aunts and uncles and extended family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the David-Donehower Funeral Home.
