Leona “Jane” Deike October 8. 1942 – November 27. 2021 Jane died unexpectedly in her home doing what she loved to do, spending time with family and cooking for them, surrounded by love. She was the born to Norris & Lois Phares in Springfield, Ohio. She graduated from Christiansburg-Jackson High in 1960. In December of 1960 she married Gary Ullery. Together they had two children and moved to Minnesota. In 1979 she met the love of her life and soulmate Dick Deike. Dick & Jane did almost everything together from horses, hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. Then they found Blackpowder Rendevous and a new passion for the lifestyle, people, and community which Jane continued to enjoy even after Dicks passing with the love and help of her Rondy Family. Granny Jane (Mom) was a strong, smart, beautiful, loving woman who never knew a stranger. Her capacity to love and bring joy and spunk will be greatly missed by all that loved her. Her legacy to love will be continued by: Her sisters, Nancy Weatherhead & Cheryl Stephans and their families. Her children, Pam (Kenny) Ullery-Holgate, Scott Ullery, & Tammy (Todd) Deike-Johnson. Her grandchildren, Andrea (Levi) Holgate-Yliniemi, Amanda (Neil) Holgate-Aho, Kristopher Holgate-Swanson, Nichole Ullery-Hanson, Mitch Ullery, and Kenton (Rachael) Johnson. Her great-grandchildren, Haylee, Addison, Brody, Tahlin, Lydia, Silas, Holden, Flynn, Darius, Mason, Jak, Ailey, Grace, Kenly, Catlin, Chelsea, & Darren. Her special friend Rollie; Her Rondy Family; Her Heart Family; and all that she touched with her love and laughter. Memorial Services for Jane will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the West-Kjos Funeral Home of Detroit Lakes.
