Reed L. Satrom

Our family sadly lost its pillar on Monday, August 1, 2022, when Reed Lloyd Satrom, also known as dad, Gramps, Grandpa Reed, Dudley and Aldo Bogni (Bugany) passed away unexpectedly. Reed was born on June 11, 1951 in Fargo, North Dakota. He attended Clifford-Galesburg schools and Mayville State University. He very much enjoyed his church families at Trinity Lutheran in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota and Norman in Clifford. His contributions to the lives of many, include caring for family and friends beyond measure in thoughtful and loving ways.

Reed is survived by his loving wife of nearly fifty-three years, their three children, thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Nathan (Helene) Satrom, of Evans, Colorado; Matthew (Heather) Satrom, of Mayville, North Dakota; Holly (Sam) Disse of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Grandchildren Caden and Brooklyn Satrom, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Alicia Gibson (Matt Pride) of Charleston, South Carolina, Caityln (Derrek) French of Crosby, Minnesota, Connor (Kaylee) Schloesser of Newport News, Virgina, Harley Parrow of Mayville, North Dakota, Evie and Veronica Satrom of Mayville, North Dakota; Mox, Lila, Lucy and Harlow Disse of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota; Great grandson Luca Pride of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Reed is also survived by his one sister, Carmen (Randy) Richards of Hope, North Dakota; One brother Randal (Vicki) Satrom of Brighton, Colorado, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Arno and Dona Satrom.

His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he interacted with. His kindness and compassion will be remembered by all that knew him.

Visitation will take place from 5-7 PM followed by a prayer service at 7 PM Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center, Fargo. Visitation will continue from 9-10 AM followed by a memorial service at 10 AM Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Norman Lutheran Church, Clifford, ND.
