Sandra Bateman

Sandra Bateman passed away peacefully at the age of 74 on October 30, 2022.

She is welcomed in Heaven with open arms by her parents, Claude and Lola Hall, sister Joyce Limer, and brother Charles Hall. She will be deeply missed by: her sister Nancy Bromley and brother Ron Hall; her children Christopher Bateman (Christine), Martin Bateman (Victoria), and Michelle Hawes (Jeff Hawes); her grandchildren Priscilla and Garrett, Tyler, Rayden, Isabella, and Kelvin. She also has many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Sandra was born in Fargo, ND, on September 2, 1948. She grew up in Leonard, ND. After graduating from high school, she met Dale Bateman on a blind date in Minneapolis. They married on May 18, 1968. They lived and worked in Minneapolis for eight years. Christopher and Michelle were born there. Sandra and Dale moved the family to Alvarado, MN, for one year, after which they bought a home in Audubon, MN. Their third child, Martin Bateman was born there.

Sandra enjoyed flowers and gardening, cooking, church activities, and visiting with family and friends.

Services will be held at 10 a. m. on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at the First Lutheran Church, 373 3rd Street, Audubon, MN 56511.
