One hurt when minivan leaves road in Mahnomen County

The man was eastbound in a 2010 Chrysler Town & Country when the minivan left the roadway and drove into the brush just east of 230th Avenue in Rosedale Township.

A Bemidji man was injured in a one-vehicle accident on Highway 200 in Mahnomen County Wednesday.

John Edward Rose, 63, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Mahnomen Health Center, according to the State Patrol.

He was eastbound in a 2010 Chrysler Town & Country when the minivan left the roadway and drove into the brush just east of 230th Avenue in Rosedale Township.

The crash was reported just before 2 p.m. on dry pavement. He was wearing a seatbelt. Airbags did not deploy, and alcohol was a factor in the crash, according to the State Patrol.
