Center Stage Dance Academy students just returned from their second dance competition of 2011. The girls all worked very hard and did well. We are now preparing for our Spring Recital on May 14, 2011. None of this would have been possible after our fire, where we lost everything, without the donations, help and support of so many of our current and past parents and students, and many members of the local schools and community.
We received donations from the Knights of Columbus and Kiwanis Club, and many individuals that asked to remain anonymous. We actually received physical assistance from parents in preparing our current location in the previous Caulfield Studio building.
We want to thank Craig and Steve Caufield for their cooperation and assistance in getting the facility ready. We also want to thank our husbands, Russ Hackel and Ron Peterson Sr., for being supportive and working so hard to get the facility ready. We want to make a special thank you to Carrie and Alyssa Mayfield, who found and framed copies of many of the pictures and prints that were so much a part of the old studio and are now hanging in our new one. We also want to make a special thank you to Christine Lembke for all of her support and assistance in so many ways.
Although it has been very stressful and difficult for not only us but our students, we could not have made such a speedy recovery and adjustment without all of this help. Our students and parents have been great in helping with the transition, and being patient as we continue to make improvements.
