Letter: A different take on the president's wall
Recently, I had a poem/comment published about the wall. I would like to comment further.
It is way too late to build a wall, anyway. The vast majority of the U.S. population is already made up of illegal immigrants and their descendants. In spite of vigorous military intervention, Native Americans were not able to enforce an anti-immigration policy. Perhaps there is a lesson somewhere in this for our chief executive? — David Le Count, Detroit Lakes
