Junior center Jesse Bergh scored a game-high 18 points putting some numeric synergy to Lake Park-Audubon’s 18th consecutive victory to close out the regular season with a record of 22-4 after a 58-18 victory over Rothsay Thursday night in Audubon.

“It was fun to get all four seniors out there and scoring,” Raiders’ head coach Kyle Haberman said. “I thought our defense was really good from the start.”

So good, the Raiders held the Tigers to only six points in the first half leading Rothsay 22-6 at the break.

Thursday night was the final regular season game at home for seniors Reese Mattson, Jake Sherbrooke, Clay Anderson and Lane Ulmer.

Mitch Hall had 15 points; Ulmer had eight and Grant Pederson scored six points to pace the Raiders behind their big man Bergh in the paint.

Lake Park-Audubon is the No. 2 seed and will face the No. 7-seeded Henning Hornets (10-14) in the opening round of the Section 6A North Subsection.

The two teams have not met this season. The game will be played in Audubon at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25.

Undefeated Hillcrest Lutheran Academy (23-0) is the top seed.
