Tom Hoge closed with a flurry in the Tour Finals in Atlantic Beach, Florida Monday and the result netted the Fargo South graduate his PGA Tour card for a fourth season. Hoge birdied the last three holes to finish with a six-under 65 and a tie for 12th in the tournament.

He ended the four-tournament playoffs in 23rd place with the top 25 earning Tour cards. Hoge entered Monday's final round at the Atlantic Beach Country Club in Atlantic Beach, Fla., needing at least a 15th place finish to reach the top 25 overall standings. The tourney was delayed a day because of inclimate weather.

Hoge was the medalist and match play champion at the 2009 Pine to Palm in Detroit Lakes and the 2010 runner-up.

The 2017-18 PGA season starts this weekend with the Safeway Open in Napa, California.
